Procedure to apply for Marriage Certificate in Rajasthan-
Marriages solemnized as per the laws can be registered under Hindu marriage Act 1955, Special Marriage Act 1954 and Rajasthan Hindu Marriage Rules.First law of civil marriages in India was Special Marriage Act 1872. After that New Special Marriage Act 1954 also combines solemnization and registration of civil marriages. Procedure of marriage registration under this act is same as Special Marriage Act 1872.
Beginning with the notice of intended marriage to be given in prescribed form to the marriage officer of the district where at least one party has lived for at-least 30 days . Marriage Officer will verify the particulars of form and all formalities respecting the signatures of witnesses have been complied with documents.
