Every Marriage contracted int the state shall be compulsorily registered in the manner so prescribed. Parties to marriage shall prepare and sign a memorandum in the form as may be prescribed and shall deliver or send by registered post the said memorandum in duplicate to the Registrar of the area. within a period of thirty days from the date of the marriage.
Memorandum is to be signed by bride and bridegroom and two witnesses on each side of Bride and Bridegroom and shall be accompanied with fee.
On receipt of fee and memorandum, registrar will filed the same in register and will send one copy to Registrar General of marriages & Couple free of cost.
