Documents Required-

  • Address Proof
  • Date of Birth Proof of Bride and Bridegroom
  • Challan
  • Proof Of Marriage ( For Proof of Marriage- At least Two Wedding Photos/ Certificate from religious Institution or priest/ Nikah Nama/Certificate from Gurudwara)
  • Joint Photos of Bride and Bridegroom {6 Joint photos of Bride and Bridegroom. If Registration is done after one year, then 7 photos are required}
  • Affidavit attested by Notary Public or Magistrate justifying the cause of delay if registration is made after 5 years.
  • Self Declaration from the Witness

For Date of Birth proof, any of the following documents can be produced-

  • Birth certificate
  • School Certificate
  • Driving License
  • Passport
  • Self Affidavit with Medical Certificate be furnished indicating Age.

Proof of Residence of both Spouses-

  • Driving License
  • Passport
  • Ration card
  • Voter ID Card
  • Domicile Certificate

Time Period-

Marriage Registration Certificate will be issued within 7 working days if registration is made within 90 days and who apply after 90 days but before 365 days of solemnization of marriage, will be issued the same within 21 working days

Fee Details for Marriage Certificate in Gujarat-

  • If registration is made within 90 Days of Marriage- Rs. 100/-
  • Above 90 days but within 1 Year- Rs. 250/-
  • Above One Year from the date of Marriage- Rs. 300/-
  • Court Fee- Rs. 10/- on prescribed per-forma
  • Fee shall be deposited in Government Treasury under Head ” Receipt 0070-01-800-99-51 or through the Cash, Bank Draft/ Postal Order in the name of Marriage Registrar of he Respective Area where he resides for the period of 6 months at least.

Procedure for Marriage Certificate in Haryana-

Application Form i.e. Form- I and aforesaid all concerned documents need to submit at CFC Branch of MCG. After that it will be forwarded to Concerned Registrar.
