Documents Required for Marriage Certificate in Andaman and Nicobar Islands –
- Age Proof- (Either Birth Certificate or Matriculation Certificate for the proof of age)
- Proof of Residence
- Affidavit to the effect of being unmarried and unrelated and declaration of age.
- Two Passport Size Photographs of both.
Eligibility- Both Parties to marriage should have completed the age limit of marriage fixed by government i.e. Bride should have attained 18 years and Bridegroom should be of 21 years. Both should be unmarried for fresh marriage and unrelated. At the time of solemnization of marriage, three witnesses should be present there.

Procedure for Marriage Certificate in Andaman and Nicobar Islands-
Application on plain paper should be addressed to Registrar of Marriage (Additional District Magistrate, South Andeman) with Contact No.
They have to Sign the register after 30 days Notice Period in Registrar Office along with three witness with identity proof. Witness should be blood relatives and close relatives.
For registration, Bride and groom with three stamp size photo physically present before the marriage officer along with the witness and proof. Individual Affidavit from the both of them prescribed duly attested.
Marriage should be registered within the 3 months of request of marriage. If not registered within the same period, request will be cancelled. If request is approved then applicant is required to pay Rs. 50/- through Challan.
