Procedure for Death Certificate in Delhi-
To get the Death Certificate in Delhi, Affidavit is to be submitted by Applicant along with Application of Rs. 2/- on Non Judicial Stamp paper duly attested by the Oath Commissioner/ Notary Public. Applications will be accepted by the concerned department in official hours i.e. 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

On receiving the application, a draft order is sent to concerned police station for verification. On receipt of verification report, order will be passed to local bodies regarding issuance of certificate to requesting party.
Time Frame– Local bodies will issue the Death Certificate within 7 days of application submitted to authority.
Fee Detail For Death Certificate in Delhi-
Death Certificate is provided to applicant at free of cost.
Additional Copies of certificate can be obtained by person on payment of Rs.5/- per copy and Rs. 2/- for search of single entry in current year & Rs. 2/- for every additional year will be charged.
